February 9 - March 5, 2017

First performed in 1954, The Pajama Game takes a sideways glance at the labour concerns of American factory workers. This 5th Avenue Theatre revival is directed by Bill Berry. One of theater's brightest and breeziest musicals, The Pajama Game is stuffed with slapstick humor and a finger-clicking jazzy score. Among the best known numbers are Once-A-Year-Day and the sultry Steam Heat, which was the first ever Broadway number choreographed by the legendary Bob Fosse.

Also known simply as "The 5th", this large-scale theater plays host to the biggest Broadway touring shows, as well as staging their own top productions through their very own 5th Avenue Musical Theatre Company, which employs over 600. Some of these shows go onto Broadway afterwards. Opened in 1926, the interior of the building has a distinct Chinese influence; Norwegian architect Gustav Liljestrom took inspiration from various Beijing landmarks from his travels to the region, and incorporated these into the overall design.
