Kicking off the 2015/16 season, the Pacific Northwest Ballet present See The Music, a mesmerising triple bill from the choreographic greats, both old and new, including Christopher Wheeldon's Tide Harmonic, the piece he created for especially for PNB in 2013.

Christopher Wheeldon/Joby Talbot
Premiering with the PNB in 2013, Tide Harmonic marks Christopher Wheeldon's first work for the company. Set to the kinetic score by British composter Joby Talbot, this dance for four couples centers on the energy man feels from water as the symphony twists and turns around the action.
Prodigal Son
George Balanchine/Prokofiev
Created in 1929, Prodigal Son marked the begining of Balanchine's popularity. Drawing on the bible story from the Gospel of Luke, the ballet follows the son's flight from his father, insearch of sin and vice. Dramatic movement underpins this expressive work as the son navigates his way home to forgiveness.
The Concert (or, The Perils of Everybody)
Jerome Robbins/Chopin
Known as one of ballets funniest shorts, Jerome Robbins created this unique work back in 1959. Attempting to re-create the surreal flights of fancy of the audience at a concert, this exuberant fantasy is still well-loved and highly respectef
