The queen of rap, Nicki Minaj makes her hotly anticipated return with her brand new tour, The Pink Friday 2 Tour, in support of her recently released album. Never afraid to raise eyebrows, Minaj has seen a stratospheric rise to fame (or infamy?) since being discovered after releasing three mixtapes between 2007-09, after which she signed a recording contract with Young Money Entertainment. Citing Missy Elliot and L'il Kim as her main influences, she is noted for her animated rapping style and use of sardonic phrases in her work; her colorful costumes, wigs and outfits have also garnered her recognition as a modern fashion icon.
Nicki's fifth album, Pink Friday 2, released late 2023 and features singles 'Are You Gone Already', 'Beep Beep', 'Falling 4 U and 'Pink Birthday' - with special guest featured including Drake, Lil Wayne and J. Cole. Pink Friday 2 is Minaj's first LP since 2018, and the follow-up to 2010's iconic album 'Pink Friday'.
