Felt lucky to be there, fantastic show
Neil Young was amazing! His voice hasn’t changed through the years, his energy was amazing for a guy that 79 years old! The audience went wild when he played Southern Man!! He played 2 encores of some pretty great songs!! It was a fantastic show!!

Ignorant fans
People have to understand the Neil is pushing 80. For anyone who went last night and for anyone who was not able to comprehend how lucky we are to be able to witness this man on a good night doing what he does, well, you all lost out on an incredible experience. Maybe you had bad seats? Maybe you had a lot of talkers? Who know? But take if from a DIE HARD Neil fan, he was feeling it last night and it was awesome. Here is one of the absolute greatest artists in the last 100 years. One of the absolute greatest songwriters in the last 100 years. And last night he gave us his all and he was on. It's Neil Freaking Young, still alive and kicking and taking names! What more could anyone want? For those of you who missed that for whatever reason, that's really kind of a shame. Cause it was right there in front of you.
Neil was incredible
Neil did not disappoint at all in his performances. It was an incredible evening with a mixture of his old and new music. He can still rock it like he did in his younger days....I loved every minute of the mellow yet energized feel of the concert. The crowd never sat down...they were on their feet swaying or dancing to the music all night. My review of 5 stars is for Neil's performance. What let me down in a big way was the lack of screens....all of them except the stage were turned off. I suspect it was Neil's decision but it annoyed me. I spent way too much money to see a dot on the stage. What used to be lawn seats are now chairs. It had been so long since I went to the venue that I didn't realize they did that. Concerts have become so cost prohibitive....I find it so disappointing that I can no longer attend lots of concerts, let alone, afford the seats where you can actually see the performers.
Neil Young is MAGIC!
Neil is so folksy & down home. I’ve seen him in his grunge garage music days, his rockin’ days & like him best as he showed up last night: happy the audience showed up... I think this was the largest audience this venue has ever seen! He thanked us several times for being there, and commented favorably on the great sound quality of the venue. He was his best self: honest & humble, in spite of his genius. He made this senior feel 19, again, relaxed & listening to every word of “After the Gold Rush,” with her neighbor across the driveway… feeling floaty. Thanks, Neil, for stopping by San Diego to play for us. Unknowingly, I bumped into three different friends who showed up, too, almost as if we’d wandered into Neil’s living room. Heavenly.
Career
I have seen Neil about 20+times in my life. And CSNY 3 times. NEIL YOUNG never disappointed.
