Written by celebrated British playwright David Hare, Skylight is a sharply drawn, melancholic drama, set in the cramped London apartment of schoolteacher Kyra. Her evening takes an unexpected turn with the appearance of two men from her past, Edward Sergeant his father Tom. Together the trio explore the events which led Kyra to abruptly leave the Sergeant household three years earlier, and whether there's a chance the three of them can reconcile.
Skylight originally debuted in London in the mid-90s, but was most recently seen on Broadway in 2015, with Bill Nighy and Carey Mulligan leading the cast. This ACT Theatre production is directed by John Langs.
