ROOM FOR IMPROVEMENT

Cello soloist had intonation issues through the Tchaikovsky. Some missed opportunities on technical variation details, such as glissandos over ricochets. The violin section was generally not cohesive, especially in the Schumann Manfred where the rear sectional players were noticably disjointed from the front. Beethoven lacked energy and vitality. It works for a general audience, but for refined listeners that know the repretoire, the caliber of orchestra seemed semi-professional.
