The Seattle Symphony invites children from 0 - 5 years old to an exciting concert of best loved nursery rhymes, from Twinkle Twinkle Little Star to The Cat and the Fiddle. This special 35 minute family-friendly show is the perfect way to introduce little ones to the orchestra, with an emphasis on the string section, in a calm and gentle way. Don't miss the interactive pre-show activities 30 minutes before the show!
In 1993, a respected science journal published a study about the positive effects classical music has on the cognitive development of children. Ever since the link between children and classical music, or the Mozart Effect, has been explored and strengthened. Seattle Symphony's Tiny Tot concerts are an easily-digestible way to get those little minds engaged and active!
