The popular Irish Tenors perform beloved Christmas classics and carols
The Seattle Symphony welcomes the warm, rich timbres of singing trio The Irish Tenors for a special one-night-only holiday show this December. Lose yourself in a wash of glorious sound as the voices of Ronan Tynan, Anthony Kearns and Finbar Wright blend beautifully with the acoustics of the Benaroya Hall and lush arrangements of well-loved Christmas classics and carols by the orchestra - and all in aid of a good cause! Proceeds from the show go towards bolstering the programs and community services of the the Ballard NW Senior Center.
Formed in 1998 specifically for a PBS TV special, the Irish Tenors proved so popular they were immediately signed up for another special. Eight albums and two decades later, the eyes of the trio are still twinkling as they step out onto stages around the world with their trademark warmth, wit and charisma. Performing in an Irish brogue with the lilting and bright vocal style of the proud Irish tradition, the old friends sing with a sense of joy and fun, often joking and making mischief between songs.
