For someone who was born right at the end of Queen's career but old enough to know the band's influence and legacy, finally hearing "Bohemian Rhapsody" in a live setting pulled off by able people was amazing.

If there were any rock and roll icons that could make a symphony sing with their rich arrangements and iconic songs, it's legendary English quartet Queen. With the help of Windborne Productions and its founder Brent Havens, beloved songs like We Will Rock You, Bohemian Rhapsody and Somebody To Love get the orchestral treatment in The Music Of Queen Symphony, which struts its way onto the Benaroya Hall stage this Summer.
Of course, one of Queen's most defining features are the soaring vocals of the legendary Freddie Mercury, which leaves a considerable challenge to any who attempt to recreate his four-octave-spanning vocal style. Luckily, Havens and Seattle Symphony have an ace up their sleeve in the form of vocalist Brody Dolyniuk, who effortlessly channels Mercury's spirit and technical ability.
