DISAPPOINTING

Not sure why he decided not to show app for most of the numbers and that others including his daughter, who might be good but not what I paid for. He should have stuck to what he knows which is not trying to Americanize the show. I want my money back.

DISAPPOINTING

It was definitely magical when he decided not to have others on stage but to take the stage himself. The only other disappointing mention was his song selection. I have a handful of his CD's and I barely recognized anything on stage, too americanized for my taste and not what I paid for.

NEED MORE BOCELLI

Just saw a concert and was disappointed - started late, very little Bocelli himself-- lots of other singers I had never heard before. He sang only one of our favorite songs and very few by himself. The first half was all opera songs. He often left the stage between his songs and let others perform - dancers, singers. I would have preferred a shorter concert with just him singing. His voice is beautiful but the concert itself left a lot to be desired.

SIGH........

My family got me tickets for the Christmas show. I was so excited. I've been a fan for years. The show started over an hour late and we later learned that Andrea was ill and could not sing. The show was rescheduled for February 21. His voice has been my favorite for years - I listen to his music endlessly, but his concert did not deliver much of him. He had different singers, some sang with him, some by themselves, dancers, orchestra, but Andrea singing solo didn't really happen that much. The show started late and went to intermission about 25 minutes in. The songs at the beginning were all opera songs, which I didn't know, and his guest were OK, but they weren't him. Some even sang very loud and drowned him out a bit. Near the end of the performance he finally sang "The Prayer" and it was beautiful. We need more like that Andrea. You do not need all the others in your show.

SO LITTLE BOCELLI

Commenting on the venue, I've seen most of the famous opera singers at Hartford's XL Center, and I think they do this type of concert very well. Good sound, visuals, etc. I was, however, a little disappointed in the Bocelli program. I paid $250 for a ticket very high up in the Center. I did have a decent view for that distance, but used my binoculars occasionally. The show featured too many that most of us didn't care to see, as others have reported at other venues. I did not feel exhilarated at the end. I really felt that something was missing. Other performers have sung and performed very well into their 70s (my favorite being Neil Diamond), so I think Bocelli has a lot left in him. He needs better management and musical direction. Then he'll be back. My thoughts are with him for good health and many more years of performing, if that's what he wants.

NEED HIM TO SING MORE

I always enjoy listening to Mr Bocelli. Have been to two of his shows ( I don’t call it a concert). Unfortunately it seems that more than half of the show was performed by Zaccaro, sopranos, violinist, daughter, and audience (we sang happy birthday to his wife). Distracting from performance was someone painting his portrait. Considering the expense involved attending his shows, I expected to hear him sing more. Disappointing

BUCKET LIST

His daughter stole the show! Had no clue who sang The Prayer with him until I googled her. An American idol contestant. She did cover Celine’s Power of Love beautifully . TOTALLY disappointed that Andrea didn’t sing Ave Maria. Didn’t pay to see a painter on stage or the guy playing the flute! Andrea needed to connect with his audience. I understand he thinks his music speaks for itself but a little conversation would be nice. Drove from Toronto were Scotia bank arena was asking $500 a ticket when I looked. Paid $66 in Detroit, drove 3 hrs and 15 minutes. Money well spent! Extreme I want to see him in a piazza in Italy 😍
