MACCA

I saw the Beatles in 1966, ticket price was $5.50. I saw McCartney in Columbia SC in 2015 and in Greenville SC in 2019...tickets...priceless. If you have an opportunity to see this musical genius perform, you should definitely go. He puts on a great show. 38 songs, nearly 3 hours. No other rock band does that. Paul's voice shows he's nearing 77 years of age, but HIS ability to play multiple instruments without missing a note is amazing. His back up band is tight and Paul interacts well with the audience. I only hope Paul and I last long enough for me to see him perform one more time.

A MUST SEE

I have seen Paul three times now. Every time was different and unique. He plays instruments better than ever and his band 2 of which have been with him for close to 30 years is an amazing band. The only complaint I had was the music was turned up louder than the vocals, so if you didn't know the words to a song you were lost as to what was being sung, the exceptions were the couple numbers where it was just Paul and the piano, which showed his voice was still great. Hey Jude was amazing as the audience sang the song, chilling to here 40,000 singing the song If you get the chance to catch him again it is a must see show, nearly three hours and non-stop hits

GREAT CONCERT FRIDAY EVENING IN VEGAS

Paul McCartney brought a fine band with him for a 2-hour and 45 minute, non-stop concert. He covered all aspects of his musical career with gusto. The band enjoyed playing together and it was seen in their faces. Paul is a master as selecting appropriate songs and built to a rousing encore-climax featuring Steven Tyler in a duet, performing Helter Skelter. Paul is genuinely gracious and tells wonderful stories. Unlike other reported venues on his current tour, the sound was fine and the vocals and instruments were crisp and clear. The lighting added to the spectacle. He's a great gift to our planet and as such is priceless. I'm glad I saw him. At 76 or 77 years old, he looks trim and strong.

VEGAS 6/28/19

WOW!!! Best concert EVER!!! No kidding, mates!!! Even at 77 Paul rocks big time and never disappointed. AMAZED at Pauls genious musicianship and his band was amazing along with him. A liitle bit of everything including great pyrotechnics, lasers and best of all Sir Paul and LOUD ROCK N ROLL!

BEST CONCERT I CAN REMEMBER.

I'm 65 and have lived in Las Vegas for 15 years. In that time period I've seen over 200 major acts preform. From 50's acts to current day artists. None of them have impressed me as much as the Paul McCartney concert ay Y-Mobile in Las Vegas on Friday, June 28th. The sound was amazing. Paul's vocals rang out like those of a twenty ear old. He performed for three hours. Quite an accomplish for a 77 years old. man. His song collection generously included over 40 songs, including included the best hits of yesterday along with current releases. The audience knew all the words and sang along. If you see no other concert in your life, Paul McCartney is one that can't be missed

IN A WORD, MAGICAL!!!

Two hours and fifty minutes of pure joy and a Macca time capsule of music from The Quarrymen to Egypt Station. Then 50,000 plus fans are given a treat no one in 53 years have seen, Paul and RINGO live in concert! WOW!! Then Joe Walsh comes out to take on one of the guitar solos in the final number, "The End". It was obvious this was unrehearsed but stunning to say the least. Perfect evening, amazing music, amazing show, an amazing magical performance.

GREAT CONCERT!

I had been wanting to see Paul McCartney for some years; I’m in my late 40s and a big Beatles and Paul McCartney fan. Last night, I was finally able to catch his performance in Los Angeles. My 14 year old son, who is more into hip hop and my girlfriend (casual fan) joined me. The concert began and we were off on our journey! The songs and sound were fantastic; I looked over and my son was bobbing his head and my girlfriend had a big smile, by the end of the show- we, along with everyone at Sofi stadium, were singing along with Paul. The show was beautiful. The set list (perfect mix of Beatles 60%, wings 30%, and solo 10%), and Paul’s wonderful storytelling, creat an absolutely beautiful narrative. We ALL left thinking it was the BEST concert we’ve ever been too.

OUTSTANDING

Went with my daughter (25) and my son (30). Both of whom grew up with Beatles music as well as classic rock. I knew they’d appreciate his music, but was pleasantly surprised that they not only appreciated the music but that their love for it bloomed. That said, Paul McCartney was outstanding. The show was great, the music speaks for itself the pyrotechnics was thrilling. Kudos to Abe, (drummer) excellent work. I have never written a critique of any concert before but felt the need to write one now. As always some may question his age, That’s irrelevant, what counts is the performance. Paul McCartney delivers.

PAUL FOREVER

Flew my 22 year old grandson down from KCMO to see Paul. It was magical to see his face and sing his songs. I feel I did a good job with him, knowing he knows the Beatles and Paul. It was a fabulous concert, no disappointment here. 22 or 80 he still has it.

"GOT BACK" GREAT!

Paul McCartney -- backed by a monster team of musicians -- gave a three-hour performance at Orlando's Camping World Stadium that lifted the spirits of a capacity audience mired in the grief of recent mass shootings. The June 2016 loss of 49 of its own at Orlando's Pulse Nightclub is still fresh in Central Florida's memory and, as such, the senseless killings are especially soul shattering. Growing up in the 1960s, Paul was not my favorite Beatle. But his songwriting passes the test of time and, at age 80, what a showman he remains today! There was no opening act. No pause between songs, except for Sir Paul regaling the crowd with memories of his band mates and all the experiences they shared. We laughed, we cried, we gladly sang along to tunes that marked our own journeys through life... even those born long after the Beatles left the world stage. Weather reports predicted rain and lightning, but it was a perfect night, cool and otherworldly, with billowing clouds floating above the stage. At times -- especially during his poignant performance of "Let it Be" toward the end of the show -- the audience looked like fire flies with their cell phones all aglow. It was a beautiful, unforgettable moment and a much-needed reprieve from recent sorrows. It proves that if anything can heal hearts, it's music. John Lennon, during a falling out with his songwriting partner, once asked Paul, "How Do You Sleep At Night?" I would guess, just fine especially knowing how much happiness his songs, and the Beatles catalog, brings to people globally, especially these days when they need it most. Apart from all that, it would be nice if more people could afford the luxury of attending his concerts. A front-row center seat sold for as much as $8,000, nose-bleed section tickets were in the $100 range and the cheapest T-shirt was a Rodeo Drive-priced $45. Come on Paul! Surely you remember life before you were a billionaire? How much is enough? I will end by saying the experience he offered the crowd at Camping World Stadium was priceless. After three years of pandemic, wars, political chaos and an onslaught of apocalyptic events, the joy he gave was (almost) equal to the money he mad

MISSED

I can't believe after the recent Gayle King story on the Queen's Jubilee, prominently featuring Paul, and his friendship with Her Majesty, that he didn't take the few seconds required to do the short ditty about how "Her Majesty's a pretty nice girl, someday I'm gonna make her mine". I wondered if he thought, as Americans, we weren't that into the pageantry going on in the UK, over the weekend, but I think we would have appreciated the timeliness of the imaginative piece and would have enjoyed seeing him seize the opportunity to remind us of the lighthearted humor that the simple little recitation represents.

OUTSTANDING CONCERT, POSSIBLY THE BEST, JUST WISHING FOR MORE

Looking for the review I just wrote, but not finding it. Loved the concert, just thought in view of the Queen's Jubilee, and Paul's friendship with her, that he would have done the little ditty about "Her majesty", but that's not a complaint. I treated a couple of sisters and the hubby of one. Well worth the price of the 4 tickets, for sure!

A DEDICATED, VERY TALENTED MAN WHOM YOU CAN'T HELP BY ADMIRE.

I was young when the Beatles released their songs, but over the years, have appreciated the Masterpieces that have been recorded and written. As I have grown older, I can truly appreciate the talent of all the Beatles and how lucky am I to witness and experience a true legend performing live. May God Bless Him and thank you for letting me experience a legend live on stage.

GREAT SHOW. IT'S LIKE WATCHING A LIVING HISTORY

The thing that stands out about this show is the energy level and the sense of history. Paul and the band have it in spades and the band are as engaged and vibrant at the end of the set as they are at the beginning. Drummer Abe Laboriel Jr was a standout to me b/c of his drumming and backup singing. The horn section added a lot of value on numerous songs, beginning with Got to Get you Into My Life. Paul plays guitar, bass, ukulele, piano and sings. He's one of the greatest musicians of all time. He's lost a bit off of his voice (understandable at age 79) but it's much stronger than you might think. He handles classics like 'Maybe I'm Amazed', 'Band on the Run', the Abbey Road medley very well and is ably assisted by the band's backup singing on tracks like 'Getting Better'. The more recent songs like 'Letting Go' and 'Come on to Me' came across well even to an audience that wasn't as familiar with McCartney's recent catalogue. To think that Paul and the band play songs from 1961 through the present day in the same set effortlessly is a testament to the catalogue he has and the band's ability to adapt. Remarkable. Paul is jovial, conversational, gives us a lot of anecdotes and historical references and provides a context and connection to the recent past that's important as we are now 50 years removed from the breakup of The Beatles. 'I've Got a Feeling' was a standout moment (among many). Most tantalizing to me was Paul and the band playing a good portion of the Abbey Road medley, the first time those songs have been played live ever + Something. It makes one think about what The Beatles might have sounded like had they stuck together or regrouped in 1975 (as should have happened imho). The Beatles playing Abbey Road live is one of the greatest shows we've never seen. Some things I'd like to see changed: - Play the entire Abbey Road medley in succession. I don't get why they started in the middle 'You Never Give Me Your Money'. Paul's piano intro is the best part of the song and that song, to me, is the anchor track and key to the entire medley. I also don't know why they broke up the medley songs into 2 sections. Play the whole thing. This band can do it. - 'Being for the Benefit of Mr. Kite' is really out of place in the set. It's a John Lennon vocal track, not Paul. If Paul wants to play a Sgt Pepper deep cut, then Lovely Rita, Fixing a Hole, or bring Ringo on stage for a duet on 'With a Little Help From my Friends' - 'Penny Lane' has to find its way into the set. I'd replace Helter Skelter (don't need to blow Paul's voice out after singing I've Got a Feeling). - '1975' from Band on the Run really doesn't need to be in the set list. If they want another track from that record, 'Jet', 'Bluebird' and 'Mrs. Vanderbilt' are better choices. - More acoustic tracks. Among Paul's best moments as a solo artist are his acoustic guitar heavy tracks. It's what makes Band on the Run a great record. Tracks like 'Another Day' would also be worth looking at here. - 'Here Today' isn't as strongly delivered nor as good a tribute to John as 'I've Got a Feeling'. Lyrics from the track are still a bit confused, as if Paul is trying to work out complex feelings about his relationship with John. Better track from that period would be 'Take it Away'. If there needed to be another tribute to John, I think 'Two of Us' or 'One after 909' w/John's vocal from the original outtakes of the Let it Be sessions running in the background would be the better tribute. - There were very nice tributes to John and George, but no hint of Ringo (of course, Ringo is still alive and active so it's different). However, Paul played a lot of tracks from Abbey Road and that is probably Ringo's standout performance as The Beatles' drummer. He's a big reason why that record has stood the test of time. Perhaps a nod to him somewhere in the set would be good. It's an expensive ticket, but well worth it.

TERRIBLE SOUNDS IN ARLINGTON

Paul McCartney at Globe Life Park in Arlington June 14, 2019 Sound Quality was so poor that no one not on floor directly in front of stage could understand anything Paul said when speaking or singing Shazam & SoundHound could not identify even well known Beatles selections that we managed to figure out. I have no idea if anyone on stage was playing/singing good or bad everyone around me either left early or sat still in disappointing silence

DISAPPOINTMENT

I was so excited to have the opportunity to attend a Paul McCartney concert at the So Fi stadium. However, the sound was much too loud and the band drowned out Paul s voice. I could only recognize a couple of the song even though I know them all. The expense did not provide a pleasant enjoyable concert.

TERRIBLE SOUND

Perfect weather. Great venue. I was looking forward to seeing Pau McCartney in Globe life ballpark. I loved the old Beatles and Wings music. Unfortunately quality of sound was mostly terrible. It was just loud, distorted mess. Most of the time you could not tell it was Paul singing. It could have been my grandfather.. and he can’t sing. He mentioned that he was the first to sing at this venue. I hope it is just one off problem with the set up at Globe Park because other Billy Joel will be playing in Oct
