Multiple Latin Grammy Award winner Carla Morrison returns to the US this year! Morrison calls it her recent album titled El Reancimento, "most personal album yet", adding: "My other albums focused on my relationship with others, this one focuses on my relationship with myself. It's as of now, the place where I live now. I shine bright, I'm in love and I'm content with my darkness and my light."
One of the leading lights of Mexican indie-pop, Morrison received two Latin Grammy Awards in 2012 for her album Dejenme Llorar and another in 2016 for the song 'Vez Primera'. Here's hoping that El Reancimento repeats this success - and then some!
