IMPRESSIVE PERFORMANCE

This production would be impossible to follow if you didn't already know the story. So many gaps in the storyline. Assuming you know the story and just want to hear the songs performed, it was fantastic! Everything from the performers on stage, to the costumes, to the staging itself was a delight for the senses.

PHANTOM OF THE OPERA TOLEDO

Excellent performance. The set was fabulous, especially for a traveling show. Second time seeing Phantom. The 1st time was about 10 years ago in Toronto.

IMPRESSIVE PERFORMANCE

This new adaptation by Cameron McIntosh is definitely larger than life! I saw the original performance in Toronto as well as a couple of others in its 10 year run. This performance had some different twists, enough to differentiate it from the others and definitely worth seeing. The sets are unbelievable, the costumes are breathtaking. The performers are talented and put their heart and soul into it. What else can I saw. You will walk out feeling elated having experienced something which simply does not happen every day.

BREATHTAKING

Okay so it was AMAZING, the only problem I had with it was they got rid of the staircase scene, and Raoul never dove into the water. I've seen it 3 times and it really upset me the last time, but other than that IT IS SO GOOD

GOOD TITLE

The music is terrific. Having seen the original 10 times I don't like this production as much, People seeing this for the first time will like it. Not so much with previous products. worth while seeing

WONDERFUL EXPERIENCE!

We had a wonderful date night seeing the show and dinner at a Japanese barbeque place a block away. Our seats were wonderful in the front center of the balcony. If you want to be in the middle of the action the orchestra seating would be a good choice as well. The sets are stunning and full of neat surprises. Loved that a lot of details followed the novel as well as the music from Webber. The orchestra was spectacular. I enjoyed most of the signing as well, it was very impressive. Only critique would be the phantom's singing, whenever he went into his head voice he unrounded his vowels and it did not sound correct. Added an off twang to some of his singing. But the falsetto half of his singing sounded great! Overall a great experience!

PHANTOM WAS OKAY

When my fiancé and I came to New York, we wanted to see a show or two. We saw Wicked first and then saw Phantom the next day. In my opinion, Phantom was not at the level of Wicked. The story line was hard to follow and did not seem very developed. I had a hard time understanding some of the singing from the supporting characters. However, the sining from the main characters was outstanding. I would not see this show again.
