Chappell Roan, real name Kayleigh Rose Amstutz, chose her stage name for her beloved grandpa, Dennis K. Chappell, whose favorite song was the classic cowboy song The Strawberry Roan. She began her career posting covers on YouTube and hit the big time when she posted her first original song to the platform.
