ROCK & ROLL HEAVEN

We got our tickets the week of and sat in the nosebleed seats, but it was the best concert I have seen in a while. Four classic 🎸 rock bands, six + hours of rock & roll such a good time!! Lots of the old favorites from each band and we sang every song - lots of air guitars from the fans around us. The giant screens made us have a great up close experience and the sound was terrific. All bands sounded just like my albums without the scratches 😆 I have been on a Rock & Roll high since I let the stadium 🎸 I made a Motley Crue channel on Pandora and have been rockin’ Poison, Def Leppard and Joan Jett tunes. Thanks for coming to H’town 💗

FIRST CONCERT

I've waited for two-three years with my dad to see these bands rock it out on the stage. Was it worth it? Let's see: Joan Jett - She sounded a tad worn, but I can still feel the passion she had what she did, plus I loved the songs they played. Good start. Poison - Probably the best of the four. Bret had such great energy and interaction and setlist was equally fantastic. Motley Crue - My favorite band, but... I do think the sound system wasn't needed because the instruments drowned out the singing. I still had fun, but I won't lie, I feel for Vince, he needs a break. Plus, some segments kind of turned me off... Def Leppard - Almost as good as Poison, but the setlist could've been slightly better. Also, I do feel like with Motley, they didn't need the extra bass either. Overall? I had a great time! Even if Motley was a little too bombastic and rowdy, this was definitely one night to remember!

WORTH THE 2 YEAR WAIT!

The lineup was Joan Jett, Poison, Motley Crue and Def Leppard. Felt bad for Joan Jett, people treated her like a basic opener with about 1/4 of the seats filled during her half hour. Poison sounded great, seemed to not play a couple of the songs we know them for. Motley Crue put on a show with an elaborate stage setup, women dancing, clouds of colored smoke, lights, lasers, etc. By comparison, Def Leppard was a very simple setup with mostly just the musicians, no extra theatrics wanted or needed. At one point Crue had the crowd put their phone lights on, and the stadium looked very cool with all the little lights going. Musically, Def Leppard brought people to their feet, closing the show with 4 of the their biggest hits. My viewpoint was from high in the upper deck. The sound was clean, loud but not overpowering. Lead singers for all but Joan Jett were a little muffled. Bands had excellent energy. Poison must have said San Diego about 30 times.... :-)

DEF LEPPARD, MOTLEY CRUE, POISON, JOAN JETT

Amazing show.. my sons loved it, only and biggest issue was my ticket stated 5pm show time. Come to find out Joan Jett started at 4pm. Which really sucked I missed Joan Jet played. Proformance of Motley, Poison and specially Def Leppard brought me back in the days of Rocking out and to experience the show with my 22 and 11 yr old son, was awesome, just wished the time was correct so we could see Joan Jet along with the rest. Have the ticket stating start time at 4pm and not 5pm.

VANCOUVER GOT ROCKED

Well worth the wait - Joan Jett was vintage - amazing underrated talent! Poison had terrific energy and the crowd loved them, even if the sound wasn’t maybe the greatest. Def Leppard was amazing - polished, pro and you wouldn’t have known they first toured over 40 years ago. Motley Crüe did NOT disappoint - they definitely had the energy and chops to justify them closing the show - Vince was on target all night & sounded terrific, Micks guitar playing was flawless, Niki kept rocking as he has for decades, and Tommy brought it all home with yet another amazing performance. I feel very fortunate that I got to see this rock & roll hall of fame line up all play on the same night!

That was a SPECTACULAR SHOW. Reminded me of the eary 90's as a teenager burning up my 68 Camaro system with the girls. I would see you guys every year!! My favorite band of all time!!
