Matchbox 20 was excellent, Counting Crows completely sucked!!!

QUESTION? WHAT DID RT SAY WAS HIS FAVORITE LINE
MB20 was so fantastic! Incredible energy by
Rob Thomas and the guys. (didn't care for
the Counting Crows and agree with all of the
reviews I've seen). Can anyone tell me what
song it was when Rob brought up the lights
and said he slammed his favorite line? And
what line was it? My friends and I Couldn't
remember. We were blown away by the
whole show that MB20 brought. We sat in
section 101w seats 13 14 and 15 and were
afraid from other reviews about the Pavilion
that we would be packed in to tight and
unable to move and dance but we found it
to be completely fine. The sound and lights
for Matchbox 20 was great. Agree with other
Pavilion reviews that there could have been
signage for parking because we were told by
an attendant o do a U-turn and park far
away on the street but we actually got in line
to park in the parking garage and that was
fine and was not full. Restaurant we liked
near by was In Fretta Pizza Wings Bar on
Regent Blvd. Great craft drinks.

I LOVE BOTH BANDS
I grew up during this era, listen to every album
by both bands. Sad to say Counting crows
wasn't up to their normal par. I was in 7th
row seat 1 right in the front. Next to the
opening band Rivers & Rust and lead singers
mom. it was definitely sound problems, for
CC. MatchBox20 killed it.. The Stadium from
my perspective even with all the cell phone
lights on was a sight to behold and he ran
from left to right side of the stage at his age
doesn't get better than that

MATCHBOX 20/COUNTING CROWS
This show was amazing, the music for the Crows was a little loud which for the most part overruled his great voice. Rob Thomas and Matchbox 20 were totally fantastic, very energetic, spoke to the crowd, kept people out of their seats the whole time. My friend and myself danced the whole time. I will for sure go to see them AGAIN!! Just wish I was able to meet that sweet man of a singer (Rob Thomas)

GREAT CONCET
Great concert by 2 amazing bands from the '90s. Counting Crows opened-you need to
know their style,..that's how they perform. It's not bad but just different than Matchbox
20. Maybe if people actually listened to the lyrics they would appreciate the greatness of
Adam D and how polished the band is after 20+ years. MB20 was great...I forgot how
many songs I knew. The crowd was into them for sure. Had a great night!

AWESOME EXCEPT COUNTING CROWS
Let me tell you this concert was amazing!
Matchbox 20 was amazingly impressive. High
energy fun for everybody. We had so much
fun, felt like Dancing all night. I used to love
counting crows and still love the recording's
but live no way. Counting crows should hang it
up unless their sound guy is to blame. That
part of the concert was a waste. You could not
hear his voice at all. They let the music override
him and maybe they should have who knows.
And the tempo was not for the audience it was
for them

GOOD SHOW
Great singing just a little unpolished in showmanship I gave it 4 stars for the singing but overall concert
experience I would give it 2 starsg

MATCHBOX 20 AND OTHERS
We started the show happy and left blown
away with a slight dip in the middle. Opener
Rivers and Rust were fantastic featuring
Matchbox 20's Kyle Cook alongside the
amazing Sheila Marshall had us wanting
more at the end. Then the stage opened up
with the Counting Crows, a band that I have
a lot of respect for and know a couple of
their tunes. I had some mixed feelings, what
I heard I enjoyed and I wished I knew more
of their songs so I could have sung along like
others were. I struggled to hear the vocals as
the music was overtaking them and the
frontman lacked interaction with the
audience. Not sure why they left out "Mr.
Jones" from their set as it was the one that I
(and others) wanted to hear the most.
Matchbox 20 took the stage and the energy
that they supplied lit up the whole place.
Rob Thomas and the boys killed it. I've never
seen a better show. Ever! They performed as
a equal unit and the respect they shared for
each other and the audience was obvious to
everyone there.

CROWS SUCK
Matchbox Twenty get all 4 stars. Zilch for Counting Crows. CC need to play music that their audience want to hear not what they want to play. We are the paying customers. Never again. They disrespect the audience. Rob Thomas et al were great!

COUNTING CROWS > MB20
For anyone who thinks the counting crows are
not good live, then they don't know real talent.
MB20 brought energy but they don't hold a
candle to the crows musically. It's like
comparing the Yankees to a double A team.
Adam and company were fantastic as always
and I would have paid triple to listen to two
sets from them.
John from Dayton, Ohio
CROWS/MATCHBOX 20
I do agree the sound was a little off for the Crows, but they did their usual concert.
Little lacking since CC did not close as they normally do. If you are a fan, you
enjoyed. Not the same version of the song every time. Blues Run the Game was
awesome! Miami was really good. Rain King great! Round Here good.
Stayed for a few songs by Matchbox 20. I liked Rob's energy on stage. I could see
where Matchbox 20 fans would have enjoyed, but did not know enough songs to
keep me in my seats.

MATCHBOX TWENTY AUWSOME, COUNTING CROWA A WASTE OF TIME
Rob Thomas still sounds as good as he did on his first album with excellent showmanship and was totally into it.
The Counting Crows were a total disgrace, not into it and the sound was totally awful. What happened to the signature song Mr. Jones !!
