This was my first time at the opera. Blue provided laughs and deep emotions. I was not prepared for the storyline. So many of the conversations made me laugh and cry. It showed the love of family and friendships, it also showed the headache of current events that have happened over the last 10 years. I feel Blue caused all of the suppressed emotions to surface and flow. The setting was minimal, the clothing was colorful but unremarkable, but the voices were beautiful. I sat in row X seat 13 on the floor level. The view was perfect. I do wish they were a little louder. The orchestra was magnificent. I was highly impressed with the whole venue. It was spacious, elegant and very clean. There is a parking garage directly across the street reasonably priced.. If you haven't seen Blue go see it and Bring a hanky or tissues, because if this story resonates with you at all your emotions will show.
