New musical

Following its recent podcast production, this touching new musical from Emily Kaczmarek and Zoe Sarnak makes its way to the 5th Avenue mainstage this spring. A story about three women, two sisters mourning their mother, and another, their lodgers, Afterwords explores the power of art and connection and how it can heal, set to a pop, rock, and indie-folk inspired score.

What is the story?

After the death of their mother, Simone and Kate find themselves, roommates, once more as they both return to the family home. For some extra help, they rent out the attic, and soon comes Jo, a war photographer with her own loss to bear. As the three women bond, they find a common ground where they can expressive their grief togther.
