Organist Anna Lapwood is something of an enigma, having managed to bring appreciation of the pipe organ into the mainstream and becoming a true celebrity in the process, with millions of followers on social media, arena tours, collaborations with Sigur Ros, Aurora, Raye and many others, and becoming a regular presenter on the BBC. The official organist of London's prestigious Royal Albert Hall, Anna was granted the title of MBE (Member of the Order of the British Empire) in 2024, for her services to music.
