Seattle Symphony's fearless leader Ludvico Morlot leads the ensemble through a rousing All-French fall program of Dalbavie, Ravel and Debussy, featuring world renowned Scottish piano virtuoso Steven Osbourne. The two-time Gramophone Award winner has become one of Britain's most treasured exports thanks to his powerful yet nuanced touch, a diverse repertoire, emotional depth and passionate performances.

Ravel's 'Piano Concerto In G Major' and 'Daphnis et Chloe Suite No. 2' take pride of place in the evenings proceedings. Widely regarded as one of France's greatest composers, Maurice Ravel fused the Spanish colors and rhythms of his Basque roots with an unparalleled attention to detail, forming soul-stirring music filled with passion, exoticism and an experimental spirit. 'Daphnis et Chloe' is his largest and most ambitious works, calling for a huge orchestra that includes fifteen percussion instruments, and an onstage and offstage chorus.
