Celebrate Seattle's Vibrant Music With Sonic Evolution

A veritable breath of fresh air amongst the dusty pages of the historic composers, Seattle Symphony Orchestra's highly innovative Sonic Evolution series returns for its six year running. Each programme celebrates Seattle's lasting legacy from past to present, bending genres and celebrating the best of the city's popular music heritage.

Inaugurated a few weeks into current Music Director Ludovic Morlot's debut season, the series started his tenure with an electric excitement, a bold statement reflected in each of the following years programmes. From alt-classical tributes to the music of Nirvana to the digital compositions of Bjork-collaborator Arca, Sonic Evolution does not rely solely on nostalgia, but look forward into Seattle's exciting musical future.
