Conductor Xian Zhang leads the Seattle Symphony Orchestra through a magnificent program of three pieces highlighting the pure genius and enduring popular acclaim for Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart. The composer's Symphony No. 39, Symphony No 35 "Haffner" and his Clarinet Concerto, featuring soloist Benjamin Lulich, come together to form a magnificent program at Benaroya Hall.

Joining Seattle Symphony Orchestra as Music Director in the 2025/2026 season, Xian Zhang is the orchestra's first ever female director. An Emmy and Grammy award-winning conductor, Xian has appeared with many of the world's greatest orchestras. She combines her time with Seattle Symphony with another post as Music Director of the New Jersey Symphony and Principal Guest conductor of the China National Center for the Performing Arts Orchestra.
