Indie and Americana at their best
Some of the best in Americana and indie come together on tour, as Band of Horses and Iron and Wine team up for a special co-headline trek across the country! Both mainstays of the indie scene for decades now, both of these artists have elevated themselves to some of the genre's most respected and inspiring inclusions. Don't miss this special run of shows!
Led by Ben Bridwell, Band of Horses do anthemic, wistful American indie better than anyone. Drenched in reverb and glittering guitar tones, they trade in vulnerability while still playing songs bursting with hooks and fist-pumping choruses. They have put out several highly regarded albums over the years, 2022's Things Are Great being one that best represents their developed sound with its reflective lyrics and catchy orchestration.
Iron and Wine, aka Sam Beam, has been compared to the likes of Simon and Garfunkel, Nick Drake, Elliott Smith, Neil Young and John Fahey - although nowadays it's him that other artists are compared to. Songs from his discography have featured on various TV shows and films, including House, Grey's Anatomy and the first Twilight movie - in fact, his song 'Flightless Bird, American Mouth' was hand-picked by the film's star, Kristen Stewart for the end prom scene.
