John Cleese

John Cleese at Pantages Theater

Why see John Cleese?

Comedy Legend

Where to begin with John Cleese? A true comedy legend, Cleese practised his comedy chops on the UK's satirical show The Frost Report in the 1960s before co-founding Monty Python. Surreal, anarchic and totally original, the sketch troop enjoyed enormous success the world over, and caused a huge storm of controversy with their movie Life of Brian. Post-Python, Cleese has created numerous iconic shows and characters, from A Fish Called Wanda, for which he received an Oscar nomination, to his bumbling hotel manager Basil Fawlty.

Always an engaging live performer, John Cleese has worked with the biggest stars uin the world, and always has the funniest stories. Catch him live with a screening of Monty Python and The Holy Grail when he visits in , ,
