Lord Huron join forces with Trampled By Turtles in a new US Tour
Two of the finest, folksiest groups ever to brandish a banjo will be coming together in a flurry of gigs this August. Indie-folk icons Lord Huron, together with bluegrass giants Trampled by Turtles, will play an 8-date tour of the Western States, providing the perfect soundtrack to your summer.
Formed in 2010 by singer-songwriter Ben Schneider, Lord Huron’s haunting melodies and acoustic sound quickly found favor following the appearance of their track, Ends of the Earth on the popular NBC sitcom, Community, with their latest album Strange Trails having been released earlier this spring. Their distinctive indie sound is joined by the Mumford-and-Sons-meets-Foggy-Mountain-Boys alternative country sound of acoustic five-piece Trampled by Turtles, whose fifth studio album, Palomino, spent an amazing 52 weeks in the top 10 of the bluegrass Billboard chart.
