Why See Annie?
The sun'll come out for Annie
Ever since her first introduction to America in a comic strip by Harold Gray, Annie has captivated audiences with wit, pluck and eternal optimism. When she finally got her first musical in 1977, her place in our hearts was cemented. Full of modern classics such as the soaring 'Tomorrow' and the toiling 'Hard Knock Life', Annie is the first word in family entertainment. Don't wait to in love with this spunky orphan all over again!
As one of the orphans under the care of shambling drunk Miss Hannigan, eleven year old Annie is desperate to escape and find her real parents. When luck comes calling in the shape of billionaire Daddy Warbucks and his desire to treat an orphan to a proper Christmas, it looks like her search might be finally gaining momentum. Miss Hannigan on the other hand, isn't letting the little scamp get away that easily. Join Annie, Daddy Warbucks, Grace, Sandy the dog and even President Roosevelt for this heart-soaring and hilarious production that'll keep the smile on your face for days to come.
