Also known simply as "The 5th", this large-scale theater plays host to the biggest Broadway touring shows, as well as staging their own top productions through their very own 5th Avenue Musical Theatre Company, which employs over 600. Some of these shows go onto Broadway afterwards. Opened in 1926, the interior of the building has a distinct Chinese influence; Norwegian architect Gustav Liljestrom took inspiration from various Beijing landmarks from his travels to the region, and incorporated these into the overall design.
