Originally opened in 1928 as the Seattle Theatre, the Paramount is a leading venue for touring Broadway shows and is part of the Seattle Theatre Group, which stages local productions as well. Originally a vaudeville and move palace, this venue is one of the busiest in the Washington State region and is an official City of Seattle landmark.
Moore Theatre is located in Seattle Washington, and is a 1,419-seat performing arts venue. It is managed by the Seattle Theatre Group, and is the oldest active theater in Seattle. The Moore holds a variety of different events, from theatrical shows to musical concerts and lectures. In 1974, the Moore Theatre and the connecting hotel was placed on the National Register of Historic Places.
