SoMo

April 28, 2019

SoMo's rise to fame has been a rapid one. The Austin native began singing in clubs with his father when he was young, but really hit the big time when he started uploading videos to Youtube. His covers of the likes of Drake, John Legend and Usher garnered hundreds of millions of views, and caught the attention of Rebublic Records, who signed him in 2013.

Alec Benjamin is an Arizona native singer and songwriter who has become just as well-known for his demos as he has his most popular songs 'Paper Crown,' 'I Built A Friend' and 'End of the Summer.' The rising star will head on tour this Spring, after releasing his second ever mixtape 'Narrated for You,' which came out late last year.

Describing themselves as an 'angry band', English punk rock outfit Idles fuse the cathartic, angular rage of their scuzzy guitar riffs, pounding drum beats and rebel yell vocals with bitingly intelligent lyrics that explore everything from politics to toxic masculinity to tales of working class strife. After the release of their acclaimed debut album Brutalism in 2017, the Bristolian rockers released their sophomore effort Joy As An Act Of Resistance a year later and are now touring the critically lauded follow up in North America this Spring.

The band behind insanely catchy single 'How Do You Like Me Now', The Heavy are a four-piece from hailing from the picturesque city of Bath, England. The only group to have ever been asked by David Letterman to perform an encore on his show, the neo-soul rockers are celebrating this summer with a world tour that brings them to US shores for four much-anticipated dates.

Despite his pluralised moniker, John Darnielle remains the sole driving force of Californian indie pop rock outfit The Mountain Goats. With an ever-evolving roster of live and recording musicians surrounding him, Darnielle revels in his goth-tinged melancholy, fusing a winning combination of wry insight and black humour in his lyrics (which earned him the accolade of 'America's best non-hip-hop artist' by the New Yorker) with lingering melodic hooks and satisfying song craft. Darnielle brings his spell-binding songwriting to venues across America to support his brand new album In League With Dragons.
