The Mountain Goats

September 5, 2019

Despite his pluralised moniker, John Darnielle remains the sole driving force of Californian indie pop rock outfit The Mountain Goats. With an ever-evolving roster of live and recording musicians surrounding him, Darnielle revels in his goth-tinged melancholy, fusing a winning combination of wry insight and black humour in his lyrics (which earned him the accolade of 'America's best non-hip-hop artist' by the New Yorker) with lingering melodic hooks and satisfying song craft. Darnielle brings his spell-binding songwriting to venues across America to support his brand new album In League With Dragons.

Rock band The Melvins will embark on a countrywide tour this September with support from alternative rockers Redd Kross and alternative Swedish artist ShitKid joining on select dates. Melvins formed in 1986 in Washington and released their debut album 'Gluey Porch Treatments' the following year. They have retained a cult-like loyal following ever since their inception.

Hot off the back of their fifth studio album "Love Is All You Love", British rockers Band Of Skulls will tour across the USA in September and October 2019, with support on all shows from Demob Happy. Opening at the Basement East in Nashville, an extensive 5 week run follows, with a rip-roaring live show including stops in Austin, New York, Toronto and Los Angeles.

Barns Courtney Poster

October 2, 2019

Serving up storming pop rock with a generous side helping of husky vocals, soulful blues riffs and driving drums, Barns Courtney is an anthem-toting troubadour fresh from the sleepy hills of Aylesbury, England. Contrary to his pastoral childhood, Courtney cut his teeth as the frontman of various different indie bands before emerging as a fully fledged solo artist to watch when his rebellious track Fire found its way on to the soundtrack of Bradley Cooper's film Burnt in 2015.

New Zealand-born, UK based neo-soul artist Jordan Rakei is heading out on tour across the US and Canada this fall, bringing his excitingly fresh sound blending soul, jazz and electronic music to American shores. Topped out with silky smooth vocals, Rakei's output has gained him a fanbase which includes the likes of seminal figures such as Robert Glasper and Nile Rodgers, while frequent collaborators include Loyle Carner and Tom Misch, two other artists making new waves on the scene.
